About the Series
The Phaedon Summit is a platform that offers space to key opinion leaders in science and therapeutic development to support the growing community of the emerging field of longevity sciences.
Each summit is a highly curated, professional forum that promotes advances in the field by bringing together major stakeholders across academia, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, investment and regulatory bodies.
Rather than a large trade show, every summit is built around a focused scientific theme, with talks, panels and discussions designed so the people in the room can engage directly, challenge each other's assumptions and leave with concrete next steps.
From our inaugural gathering at the Buck Institute to Rome and now Stanford, each edition has grown the network of researchers, companies and regulators working together to bring therapies for aging-related disease closer to patients.
Researchers present new findings, emerging data and open questions to peers who work on the same problems from different angles. The goal is honest exchange, not polished pitches.
By putting academics, companies, investors and regulators in the same room, the summits create connections that are hard to make anywhere else, and that often continue long after the event.
Participants align on directions and priorities, learn from each other's successes and setbacks, and help the field grow in a way that benefits everybody, not just individual programs.
The collective effort, in turn, accelerates the research and medicines that can help the growing aging population affected by chronic degenerative diseases.
The Phaedon Podcast
The Phaedon Podcast is one of the ways we build connections between the different stakeholders in aging research and therapeutics, and keep an open route of information between longevity experts and the public.
It's a forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions before, during and after each summit.
