The Senotherapeutics Biomarker Consortium is coordinated under the umbrella of the Phaedon Institute and operates through a shared governance structure of topic-specific working groups, ensuring tridirectional exchange between discovery science, translational development, and regulatory considerations.
We are pleased to announce our inaugural summit aiming to unite leading academics, clinicians, biotechnology executives, and regulatory experts to address one of the most critical challenges in aging biology: the development, standardization, and clinical translation of senescence biomarkers. By bringing together diverse stakeholders across the full translational spectrum, the SBC aims to accelerate the path from mechanistic discovery to actionable clinical tools.

The 2026 SBC Inaugural Summit will be held at the Clark Center Auditorium, home of Stanford Bio-X — Stanford University’s flagship interdisciplinary biosciences initiative. A landmark hub for cutting-edge research and cross-disciplinary collaboration, the Clark Center is an ideal setting for the SBC’s mission to unite academia, industry, and regulators around senescence biomarker science.
For out-of-town participants traveling to Stanford for the SBC Inaugural Summit, we have compiled a selection of nearby accommodation options to assist with your travel planning. Each listing includes a link to the hotel’s official website as well as a map location for your convenience. We recommend booking early, as availability in the Palo Alto and Stanford area can be limited, particularly during peak periods.
The Stanford Marguerite Shuttle provides complimentary transportation to the Clark Center Auditorium. Participants are advised to take Line A from the Palo Alto Transit Center, alighting at the Medical Center stop, which is located adjacent to the Clark Center. Shuttles are scheduled to meet every Caltrain arrival. Real-time shuttle tracking is available via the ETA Spot application.
Caltrain services connect San Francisco, San Jose, and the greater Bay Area to Palo Alto Station, from which participants may board the complimentary Marguerite Shuttle directly to campus.
Visitor parking is available at the P1 Structure (Campus Drive West at Roth) and P2 (Via Ortega at Panama). Time-limited permits may be purchased on-site. Campus parking is complimentary after 4:00 PM.
Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the Palo Alto and Stanford area. When booking, use 318 Campus Drive, Stanford, CA 94305 as the drop-off address. Participants are advised to allow additional time during peak morning hours.
SFO is approximately 30 miles north of Stanford. Uber and Lyft are available directly from the airport and offer the most convenient door-to-door service to campus. Estimated travel time is 35–50 minutes depending on traffic.
SJC is approximately 20 miles south of Stanford and is the closest major airport to the venue. Uber and Lyft are available directly from the terminal. Estimated travel time is 25–40 minutes depending on traffic.
